Summer is Here and the Washington Square Music Festival Dates Have Been Announced

We are so pleased to have the weather warm up.  Children are playing in the park and on weekends the fountain is buzzing with energy late into the night as the sun sets.  The reviatlized arch is as iconic and stoic as ever.   And thanks to the Parks Department, the vision of park architect George Vellonikas and the support of community organizations like us, the park is as beautiful as ever with flowers blooming in every corner.   To paraphrase, it takes a Village to raise NYC's most beautiful park. 

And the summer signals yet another tradition, the Washington Square Music Festival.  With 3 dates planned in June and August, this summer series should be as wonderful as ever.   Please check out our Washington Square Park events page for more details of upcoming concerts on June 17th, June 24th and August 8th.
