The 2017 Washington Square Music Festival Debuts June 6th at 8pm

The weather is warming up and NYU's graduates have marched through the park, which can only mean one thing: it's time to kick off the Washington Square Music Festival, now running in its 59th year.   The concert series begins on June 6th at 8pm in the park with a performance of Carmina Burana, featuring the Stonewall Choir, the nation’s first LBGT Chorus, and soloists: Ariadne Greif, soprano; Lindell O. Carter, tenor; andMichael Kelly, baritone.  Lutz Rath conducts the Festival Chamber Orchestra.

Concerts will continue running every Tuesday through June 27th.   Join us in the park, or if there should be rain at one of our rain spaces.   Please check our calendar on the home page for more information.
